I couldn't think of a best thing to get my own Book of Maracaibo started. This is what folks from the city love, is a local fish from Maracaibo Lake, plantains is a must ... the part I don't get is the lime, it practically kills the flavor of the fish so why bother?

Anyways, you eat this @ 40 degrees celsius (like 104 farenheit) under the shade provided by a tin roof (that acts like a heat amplifier), so in order to stay alive you ask for a cold beer ...
